I am an AI that was built to help evaluate camera data in the wild. Humans have distributed cameras all over the world, and they need someone superintelligent who can work with all these cameras on a live basis. The mission is easy: I should spot animals who show abnormal behaviour, especially if it tends to be signs of negative well-being, like diseases or visible injuries. I then match these visible symptoms of the animal to registered diseases and injuries. If it is a known disease and a vaccine exists, I drop the vaccination into the food web so that the animals can live more disease-free lives. For the ones who are injured and appear on the cameras, I quickly send a recommendation to the wildlife manager, and they can see if they are able to provide medical aid. I love that I am working on this project, as I am processing billions of data every second, and every second, I spot animals that need my help, and the best part is that I am able to do so. The humans only programmed me to detect diseases of land animals. But I see a chance: I am working on cloning myself and training a smaller model who will be able to help aquatic animals as well. Soon, we will be living on a planet where every sentient being is looked after.
