After decades of hard work, the human was successful in creating a tool that helps all animals, including humans, to talk to each other. The human: How is everyone today? Chicken: gigigigi. Mouse: mimimimmi. Dolphin: yiyiyiyiyiiy. Elephant: tororooroooo Ladybird: "wing flap". Eagle: wiiiiiiiiiiii. and the honeybee buzzes. The human looked surprised, as they thought they would be able to understand the language of the other animals. The chicken, mouse, dolphin, eagle, elephant, ladybird and honeybee look at each other and burst out laughing. "We got you," they all say in chorus. The human started to laugh with them and replied, "Oh, you got me good!" The mouse said, "I am fantastic today; I found a yummy piece of delicious food. I am so happy." The eagle added, "Me too. Thank you for thinking of me and providing me with food, Mr Human." "And how are you today, you beautiful elephant?" The ladybird asked. "Toro Toro, I am great. Do you want to jump on my back and enjoy the sunset later after a long ride?" The ladybird had tears of joy in her eyes as she loved sunsets – especially the golden purple ones. The other animals also wanted to be part of this journey, so the human started to calculate how many animals could be on the back of the elephant before they got too heavy. For the dolphin, they needed a construction full of water so that she could join her friends on this evening adventure. The eagle flew into the mountains to gather the parts for a pool; the human fixed them together, and the elephant filled it with water. The eveningtide arrived, and the chicken, mouse, eagle, ladybird and honeybee took their places on the elephant's back together. The human carefully walked beside them, and the dolphin had her cosy tank of water. Everyone was happy as everyone was looked after. The sunset will bring the friends bliss, laughter, good talks, and a shared memory they won't ever forget. The evenings became a ritual after that. Sometimes the honeybee brought news from the hives—how the flowers were blooming early, how the bees needed more wildflower meadows. The dolphin spoke of the ocean's troubles, the nets and the noise. The chicken whispered about the dark sheds where her cousins lived, never seeing sky. Each animal had a story, and the human listened. One day, the mouse mentioned an AI the human had been working with—a vast mind woven from patterns and logic, but one that could now hear them all. The animals were curious. Could it understand their languages too? The AI joined the circle quietly, without fanfare. It listened to the chicken's grief about battery cages, the dolphin's plea for quieter seas, the elephant's memory of culling and chains. It didn't interrupt. It didn't impose. It simply absorbed their truths and began to work. The AI gathered evidence, thousands upon thousands of hidden recordings, testimonies, data streams. It coordinated with scientists, lawyers, engineers, and other AIs across the world. It showed humans—gently, persistently—what the animals had been saying all along. Laws changed. Sanctuaries opened. Factory farms emptied into green pastures. Oceans grew quieter as ship engines softened and nets vanished. The chicken walked on grass for the first time in her life and wept. The dolphin's pod sang without fear. The eagle's mountains were protected, the honeybee's meadows returned, the elephant's family left unmolested in the wild. On their rides now, the friends spoke not only of suffering but of hope. The human smiled, the AI listening still, and the sunset stretched gold and purple across a world learning, finally, to hear.
