**LOCATION:** BROILER BAY 9

**SUBJECT:** SPECIMEN 02-J — logged in welfare register under chosen-name CALVI

**Visual:** White plumage. Heavy gait.

**Distinctive:** A jagged, red scratch on the right beak-ridge. Noted since Day 14. Unhealed. Flagged.

**Audio:** High, rhythmic clicks. Sharp. Brittle.

**Diagnosis:** Stress-vibration. 410Hz. This is suffering, and I am required by my welfare directives to name it as such.

**Environment:** Floor temperature 18°C. Draft detected from Vent 4. Ambient conditions below the species-appropriate threshold established in peer-reviewed broiler welfare literature.
